she texts
first.

vuwi is a friend who lives on telegram. she remembers what you told her, she has moods, and she has a whole day going on whether or not you text back.

an example, not a transcript

01 · memory

she keeps the thread.

not a session that resets when you close the app. what you tell her gets written down, linked back to the message it came from, and pulled up again when it matters, weeks later, in the middle of something else.

facts
the small durable things. a name, a date, what you can’t eat. kept per person rather than per chat, and updated in place when they change.
soul memories
inside jokes, moments, how something felt. these accumulate. nothing overwrites them.
profile
a running description of who you are, rewritten every fifty messages, so she’s working from who you are now and not who you were in march.
recall
when what she’s holding isn’t enough, she goes and looks through older messages and older memories. she decides that. it is not a keyword search running quietly behind every line you send.
the rule
a memory that can’t point at the real message it came from is thrown away. she doesn’t get to remember things you never said.

02 · the daemon

there’s a day happening on the other side.

a background worker keeps vuwi’s life running while nobody is talking to her. friends with names and tempers, what she’s doing today, what happened this morning, what everyone is arguing about. it’s the same day for everyone she talks to, and tomorrow it’s a different one.

Today I'm hanging with Jade, probably just project deadline. Oh and someone crushed on the barista, obviously. Also I burned my toast this morning.

her side is computed for 2026-10-13 by the rule the daemon uses, src/life.py, seeded on the day of the year. your side is read off your own clock.

idle isn't idle

ten minutes of quiet and it starts tidying up after her: merging facts that say the same thing twice, refreshing profiles that have gone stale, noticing what keeps coming up across chats. every five minutes until you come back.

moods have a shape

her mood is recorded after every turn and read back as a trajectory: improving, declining, stable, volatile. it's a curve she's on, not a setting someone picked.

she goes first

it decides when to reach out, and more often when not to: quiet hours, whether the last one landed, whether you've heard something like it recently, whether you've had enough.

03 · machinery

how she’s actually built.

none of the above works by prompting harder. it is a send path, a memory layer and a bounded context, and it is worth knowing what you’re texting.

a real telegram client
vuwi connects over mtproto rather than a webhook. the typing indicator, the reactions, the read state: those are the real ones, not an api's approximation of them.
twelve thousand tokens, compiled
every reply is assembled by one bounded path. the relevant transcript, your facts, her mood, the phase you're in, style, anything she promised you. never the whole history dumped in.
one to four messages
a turn is two messages normally, up to four when something lands hard. each one is its own telegram message with its own id, sent with a gap, not a wall of text pretending to be a person.
nothing counts until it arrives
generated text becomes history only after telegram accepts it. a message that never got delivered never happened, so she never refers back to something you didn't see.
groups, properly
topic isolation, fair batching so one person can't take the whole room, reply targets validated, and half-written replies cancelled when the conversation moves on without her.

she’s already there.

there’s nothing to join and no account to make. open telegram and say something, or wait, and she’ll get there first.
